The cake "Rūjas Krasts" was created, inspired by the 1968 recipe of Rūjiena confectioner Ādolfs Trinītis. Ādolfs was a well-known and respected confectioner at the Rūjiena canteen's confectionery workshop — quick, precise, and respectful in his approach to his work.
The "Rūjas Krasts" cake has an authentic double layer of shortcrust pastry filled with a slightly tart apple and quince purée. In the middle is a layer of light sponge cake moistened with a specially cooked sugar syrup and sweet cream. Decorated with aesthetic chocolate and light cream flowers.
The cake is available in 1.2 kg.
